When you are connecting Facebook and Instagram accounts to Enji, you go through a sign in flow with Meta (Facebook or Instagram). Each time you go through this flow, you are providing Enji permissions to access specific resources in Meta.
Here is an example:
you go through this flow to connect a Facebook Page to Enji and only give Enji permission to that Facebook page
next you connect an Instagram account to Enji that is connected to a different Facebook page and only give Enji permissions to that Facebook page and Instagram account
your Enji account now tries to post scheduled content for your first Facebook page (from #1 above) and it fails for not having permissions and you receive a note to sign in again and refresh your connection for that first Facebook page
What happened here is that when you signed in to Instagram and only provided Enji permissions to access a different Facebook page and a specific Instagram account tied to that page, you removed the prior permissions for the first Facebook page.
To fix this, we recommend opening up your permissions each time you connect to Enji. You can be very specific for your permissions, but each time you connect you need to provide Enji access to all the resources (pages, business, Instagram accounts) you will use. Given that can be difficult, follow the steps below which make this easy:
First, when you click Connect and get the Facebook popup, you need to click Edit Previous Settings as seen below.
Next you need to click Opt in to all current and future Pages.
After that select Opt in to all current and future Businesses.
Lastly, for the Instagram account, click Opt in to all current and future Instagram accounts.
This will fix your issue. Enji now has access to all of your resources and will be able to post and pull analytics.
