How to create a marketing strategy

If you thought creating a marketing strategy was hard—think again! You can create a marketing strategy in minutes with Enji! And after you do, you’ll have clarity about what you need to do to put your business in front of your potential customers and clients.

How to create a marketing strategy for your small business in Enji:

  1. Click on the “Strategy” tab you see in the left side bar of your screen; you can also start directly on your dashboard in the section you see “Create Your Strategy”.

  2. Give your strategy a name. Something like “2023 Strategy” works great. Hit enter/return.

  3. Complete the questionnaire—so easy!

  4. Once you’re done, you’ll land on your customized marketing strategy (which you can access from the “Strategy” tab in the future).

  5. To customize your strategy even more, follow the prompts you see at the top of each section.

Your marketing strategy will include your:

  • Goals

  • Objectives

  • Customer persona(s)

  • Marketing channels

It all gets customized based on how you answered the questionnaire and if you want to make changes to the strategy, you absolutely can. Hit the + button you see in the upper right hand corner of your screen to add elements to your marketing strategy. If you want to delete anything, click into the element (a detail view will open on the right hand side of your screen) and click on the 3 dots you see inside of the circle (in the upper left hand corner of the detail screen) to delete it.

Once you’ve created your marketing strategy, tasks will appear on your task calendar as well as a few marketing campaigns we recommend.
