How to use the social media scheduler

If social media is one of the places you market your business, you can use Enji’s social media scheduler to batch create and schedule posts to go out ahead of time! You can schedule Facebook posts, Instagram posts, reels, and stories, Threads posts, LinkedIn posts, TikTok videos, YouTube shorts, and pins to Pinterest.

When starting to use the social media scheduler in the calendar

  1. Hover over the date you want to schedule the post for, and click the + button you see in the upper left hand corner of the cell.

  2. A modal will appear with options; select which social media account you want to post to.

How to schedule a post to publish in the Social Media Scheduler

  1. When you add a post to your Calendar, the date and default time are already set. BUT your post will not be scheduled until you click "Scheduled" in the status bar you see at the top of the window

  2. To schedule a social media post to auto-post at the date and time you set, click "Scheduled" to approve the post for publishing

How to draft a caption in the Social Media Scheduler

  1. If you are going to use the AI copywriter to draft the caption:

    1. Click on the "Caption" option you see in the bottom half of the window and then on the button "Enji can write the first draft for you"

    2. Type in a topic where you see “Topic or Link”

    3. Type in your prompt or additional information you want the AI copywriter to have/use in the “Additional details” field

    4. Click “Draft it for me”

  2. If you are writing the caption yourself:

    1. Just click on the "Caption" option you see in the bottom half of the window and start typing in your caption

How to upload photos, videos, and graphics in the Social Media Scheduler

  1. Click on the "Media" option you see in the bottom half of the window

  2. You can drag and drop media into the field or click the area to select files from your computer, your Media Library, or your Canva account (via the integration)

Notes:

  1. If you want to add more photos, graphics, or videos to create a carousel, click the + button in the lower right corner of the window

  2. If you want to reorder images:

    1. Click on the 3-dot icon you see in the upper right corner of the image you want to move

    2. Click “Move left” or “Move right” to reorder the image

  3. You can use Enji to crop media to the approved dimensions for each platform. Click on the 3-dot icon you see in the upper right corner of the image you want crop and select the crop and/or reposition the media

How to use the content planning workflow in the Social Media Scheduler

  1. If you want to just plan your content to start to come back, draft, and schedule later, you absolutely can! Hover over the date you want to schedule the post for, and click the + button you see in the upper left hand corner of the cell.

  2. A modal will appear with options; select which social media account you want to post to.

  3. The upper part of the next screen is where you can plan your content: the topic, pillar, notes, etc. Do the planning you want here before closing out

  4. When you are ready to sit down and create the post, your notes will still be there!
