How to create a brand guide
Updated over a week ago

Whether you’ve created your brand yourself or hired a professional, having a brand guide is the best thing you can do to make sure your brand is always consistent. And it’s easy to create one in Enji.

  1. To create your brand guide, we recommend starting by uploading the main parts of your brand to the “Brand Assets” tab you see in the left side bar. That is because when you create your color palette and upload things there, your brand guide will automatically start getting created!

  2. Once you’ve finished uploading things there, click on the “Brand Guide” tab you see in the left side bar.

  3. The first thing you’ll see is a spot to create or upload your brand’s mood board. You can click on any of the boxes you see in the mood board template to upload an image, change the layout or upload a mood board you already have.

  4. Next you’ll want to create your brand voice.

    1. To use AI to create your brand voice:

      1. Copy and paste about a 150 word copy sample into the field where it says “Enji can summarize your voice”.

      2. Click “Summarize my voice”.

    2. To create your brand voice manually:

      1. You can make edits directly to the brand voice, tone, and style statements you see in the detail screen. Just be sure to identify the key adjectives since these are what Enji uses in the AI copywriter to write in your voice.

      2. To identify a word as a “key adjective,” highlight the word and click the “Key Adjective” button

  5. Lastly, you’ll want to make any additions to what you already see there (because you started in the “Brand Assets” tab). Click on the + button you see in the upper center/right part of your screen to find the options to add additional elements.

Once you’ve done that, your brand guide is ready to send to graphic designers, website designers or anyone else helping you create on-brand content.
